What do Oceanographers use to measure the ocean's depth? They use echo sounding(a form of sonar).

What is the difference between Seas and Oceans? Size is the main difference and, seas are usually surrounded by land.
What is mechanical weathering? breaks up large rocks into smaller rounder pieces by using physical force.
What is chemical weathering? is a form of weathering that disintegrates rocks by changing their chemical composition.
what is frost heaving? is a form of mechanical weathering where ice below the surface of the ground pushes surface material up as much as 45 cm.
What is the cheapest way to desalinate water? Reverse osmosis.
What is Reverse Osmosis It is a desalination process which sea water is pumped at a high pressure against a special membrane that allows water molecules to pass through but prevents the salt and other particles from crossing over.
What is high tide? It is the maximum sea level caused when a point on the earth's surface arrives at a bulge of water.
What is low tide? It is when a point moves under the lowest sea level between bulges.
What is a Spring tide? It is when the sun's gravity works with the moon's to form a higher than usual tide called this.
What are the oceans? Atlantic, Pacific, Indian,and Arctic.
What percent do oceans cover of the earth? about 71.
What is distillation? It is a form of removing salt from sea water. To do this you have to boil the water and capture the water vapor, and then you will have fresh water.
Is distillation cheap? no.
