Brain Stem. Central core of brain, Survival.
Medulla Oblongata. Controls heartbeat and breathing.
Pons. Bridge between Medulla and brain.
Reticular Formation. Controls arousal.
Thalamus. "Operator" Transmits to other parts.
Cerebellum. The "Little Brain". Movement/balance.
Hypothalamus. Eating, drinking, temperature. Reward Center.
Pituitary Gland. "Master gland". Releases growth hormones.
Amygdala. Linked to emotions.
Hippocampus. Helps form new memories.
