Interphase Normal cell.
Prophase Chromosomes make copies. Nuclear membrane disappears.
Metaphase Chromosomes line up in the middle of the cell.
Anaphase chromosomes seperate.
telophase new nuclear membrane forms.
Mitosis the seperation of chromotids.
Binary fission simplest form of cell reprouction.
why is mitosis important? ensures that each new copy of a cell recieves a copy of each chromosome.
