Different types of behavior an its environment

| courtship behavior | behavior performed by males and females before mating |
| migration | seasonal movements of animals |
| stimulus | anything in the environment to which an organism reacts |
| insight | a form of reasoning that allows animals to use past experiences to solve new problems |
| pheromones | chemicals produced by one animal that influences the behavior of another animal of the same species |
