Renal Pelvis (kidneys) -superior end of the ureter expands to form a funnel-shaped sac. -located mostly inside the renal sinus. -formed by 2 or 3 tubes.
Renal Medulla (Kidneys)
Renal Pyramids (kidneys)
a.Major Calyx b.Minor Calyx (Kidneys)
Renal Cortex (Kidneys) -appears some what granular, forms a shell around the medulla. -forms renal colmumns.
Renal Capsule (Kidneys) -a fibrous membrane that surrounds the cortex and help maintain the shape of the kidneys.
