Periodic Table scientific chart that organizes elements through periods and families
Protons positively charged particle of an atom found in the nucleus
Neutrons neutral sub particel of an atom found in the nucleus
Electrons negatively charged sub particle of an atom found orbiting around the nucleus on energy levels
Nucleus the center of the atom containing the protons and neutrons
Energy Level region around the nucleus containing the electrons
Valence Electrons the electrons on the outermost energy level, farthest from the nucleus
Atomic Mass the weighted mass of the atom that includes the total number of protons and neutrons
