claim evidence reasoning and experimental class notes

what is a claim is a statement that answers the question it will usually only be one sentence length
what is evidence supported by data used to support the claim it can either quanitive or qualetive depending on the question and /or lab only use data with evidence that supports the claim
what is reasoning is the explanation of why and how the evidence supports the claim
what is accuracy being as close to correct answer as possible
what is procedure the steep you follow in a lab
what is hypothesis perdition educated guess that uses the format if then
what is constants things that remain the same in an experiment
what is a variable is anything that can be change in an experimant
what is a independent variable variable is the variable that is purposely changed in a experiment (the one that is being tested)
what is a dependit varible varible is the variable that you are measuring ( in response to the independitant varible )
