TermDefinition
Abandonment Leaving a Person without the care or help they need. "they were left without care"
Abdominal Thrust (Heimlich Maneuver) A technique used to help remove an object blocking someone's airway. "push the object up"
Abductor Wedge A wedge shaped device placed between the legs to keep them apart and properly positioned. "abductor= moves/ keeps legs apart"
Absorption The process of taking in or soaking up something "absorb=take in"
Abuse Harm of another person, physically, emotional, sexual or financial "hurting or mistreating someone"
