How do the particles in a solid appear? The particles in a solid are tightly packed together, vibrate in a place, and are packed in a regular pattern.

What shape does a liquid take? A liquid take the shape of the container it is poured into.
How do particles of a liquid appear? Particles are less tightly packed and can move and slide past one another.
____ is a state of matter that has no definite shape or volume. Gas
How to particles in a gas appear? Particles in a gas are much farther apart than particles in solid and liquid. They can move around each other very easily.
What happens to gas particles if you make a container bigger? The same amount of gas will expand to fill the space.
The average movement of particles in an object is determined by what? The amount of energy in the objects. When energy is added, particles move fast. When energy is lost, particles move slow.
