Adhesion water, its just called that bc it dissolves more substances than any other liquid
Cohesion water molecules sticking to other water molecules via hydrodgen bonds
Polar Molecule a compound with one negatively charged side and one positively charged side
Hydrogen Bond two oppositely charged water molecules attracted each other making water ''sticky'' (positive, negative)
Surface Tension water having a thin "skin" on it and clumping together forming a droplet
Capillary Action water traveling against gravity, while moving up a plant stem
Specific Heat Capacity the temp of heat needed to change the unit mass of a substance
Expansion Upon Freezing an increase in volume with the same mass to decrease density
universal solvant water, it disolves more substances then any other liquid
