Word Definition
Natural Selection Organisms who's special characteristics are best suited their environment usually survive and produce offspring that inherit those characteristics
Adaptions Changes to the behavior, physical characteristics and/or, environment of organisms that let them survive.
Niche The specific role in its habitat an organism is supposed to play
Competition The struggle between organisms to survive as they try to use the same limited resources
Predation An interaction where an organism kills another for food
Predator The organism who kills
Prey The organism who gets killed

Symbiosis A close relationship between two species that benefits at least one
