Absolute Value the distance between a number and zero on the number line
Additive Inverse two numbers whose sum are 0 are additive inverses of one another; they are equal distance from zero on a number line
Integers the set of whole numbers and their opposites
Multiplicative Inverse two numbers whose product is 1 are multiplicative inverses of one another
Natural Numbers the set of whole numbers from 0 upwards
Negative Numbers the set of numbers with a value less than zero
Opposite Numbers two different numbers that have the same absolute value
Positive Numbers the set of numbers whose value is greater than zero
Rational Numbers the set of numbers that can be written in the form a/b where a and b are integers and b ≠ 0
Repeating Decimal a number whose decimal representation repeats indefinitely
Terminating Decimal a decimal with a finite number of digits
Zero Pair a pair of numbers whose sum is zero
