food chains a model that shows one set of feeding relationships among living things.
carnivore an animal that eats only other animals.
herbivore an animal that consumes only plants.
omnivore an animal that eats plants as well as other animals.
energy pyramid is the graphical model of energy flow in a community. The different levels represent different groups of organisms that might compose a food chain.
