Recuperação pós-anestésica Compreende desde a chegada do paciente na sala de recuperação pós anestésica até sua alta para a unidade de origem
Pós-operatório imediato Compreende as primeiras 24h após a intervenção anestésico-cirúrgica
Pós-operatório mediato Depois das primeiras 24h até a alta do paciente ou depois de seu retorno para casa
Pré-operatório mediato Da noticia da necessidade de procedimento cirúrgico até as primeiras 24h que antecedem a cirurgia
