What is the purpose of science? to carefully observe nature and to try to discover the laws of creation so these laws can be put to waork for the benefit of mankind.
What is the scientific method? the systematic way in which scientists gather and pursue scientific knowledge.
What is a hypothesis? a sensible explanation to a problem.
What is observation? gathering data about nature in a systematic way.
what is experimentation? the methodical testing of hypothesis.
experimental group the group on which the test is preformed.
control group the group used as a standard for comparison
what are constants? conditions present in both the control group & the experimental group throughout the experiment.
What are variables? conditions present only in the experimental group.
