есть to eat, to be (есть/съесть) [+ accusative if to eat, otherwise often + nominative] { present: я е́м, ты е́шь, он е́ст, мы еди́м, вы еди́те, они едя́т; ешь!} IMPORTANT
хотеть to want (хотеть/захотеть) [+ accusative if indivisible or certainty in quantity, + genitive if abstract, uncountable liquids, or general desire "would like" often мне хочется... супа] { хочу́, хо́чешь, хо́чет, хоти́м, хоти́те, хотя́т; хоте́л; хоти́!}

взять to take (брать/взять) [+ accusative] {возьму́, возьмёшь; взя́л, взяла́, взя́ло, взя́ли; возьми́!}
сделать to do, to make, to finish (делать/сделать) [+ accusative] {сде́лай!}
понимать to understand (понимать/понять) [+ accusative] {понима́й!}
казаться to seem, to appear (казаться/показаться) [+ instrumental, BUT... there are exceptions you should look into like after: Мне кажется...] {кажу́сь, ка́жешься; каза́лся; кажи́сь!} IMPORTANT
давать to give, to let, to allow, plus many colloquial meanings (давать/дать) ( + accusative for object and + dative for to whom, this is simplified) {даю́, даёшь; дава́л; дава́й!} IMPORTANT
пойти to go (идти/пойти) (+ в/на, + к/ко, +за if for someone) {пойду́, пойдёшь; пошёл, пошла́; пойди́!} IMPORTANT
