TermDefinition
Big Bang Theory the scientific idea that the universe began as a tiny, extremely hot, and dense point, and then expanded very quickly.
geocentric theory the old scientific idea that Earth is at the center of the universe and that the Sun, Moon, stars, and planets all move around Earth.
Ptolemy He is most famous for creating the Geocentric Model, the idea that Earth is at the center of the universe and everything in the sky moves around it.
heliocentric theory the scientific idea that the Sun is at the center of the solar system, and the planets—including Earth—orbit around the Sun.
Copernicus He is famous for proposing the Heliocentric Theory
Geo means Earth
Helio means sun
