| Mutualism | A symbiotic relationship in which both organisms benefit |
| Parasite | An organism that lives in or on another organism and causes harm to obtain food. |
| Parasitism | A symbiotic relationship in which one organism, the parasite, benefits by obtaining food from its host and causes harm to the host. |
| Predation | The relationship in which one organism hunts and eats another organism. |
| Predator | An organism that hunts, catches, and eats another organism prey an organism that is hunted, caught, and eaten by another organism. |
| Prey | An organism that is hunted, caught, and eaten by another organism. |
| Symbiosis | A relationship between two different species where one or both organisms benefit. |
