tides The regular rise and fall of the water level along a shoreline - caused by the Moon’s gravitational force
moon phases the apparent shapes of the Moon in the sky
apparent motion the way something moves or seems to move
galaxy a collection of billions of stars, dust, and gas that is held together by gravity
planet a large, round object in space that orbits a star
