Word Definition
Organism A living thing
Habitat A place that has the things an organism needs to live, reproduce, and grow
Biotic Fact the living parts of a habitat
Abiotic Factor the nonliving parts of a habitat
Photosynthesis The process where plants make their own food
Species A group of physically similar organisms that can mate and produce offspring that can also mate and reproduce
Population The total number of one species in an area
Community Different populations that are in one are and interact w/ eachother
Ecosystem A community of organisms that live in a certain are w/ their nonliving surroundings
Ecology The study of how living things react w/ eac other and their environment
