Mitä astma on? Krooninen tulehduksellinen hengitystiesairaus, jossa hengitystiet ovat ahtautuneet ja herkistyneet.
Mitkä ovat astman tyypillisiä oireita? Hengenahdistus, hengityksen vinkuminen, yskä ja rintakehän puristava tunne.
Mikä aiheuttaa astman oireiden pahenemisen? Allergeenit, infektiot, kylmä ilma ja rasitus.
Mikä on astman lääkehoidon päätavoite? Vähentää hengitysteiden tulehdusta ja ehkäistä oireita.
Mitkä ovat astman tärkeimmät lääkeryhmät? Inhaloitavat kortikosteroidit, beeta2-agonistit ja leukotrieenireseptoriantagonistit.
