What are decomposers in an ecosystem? Bacteria or fungi that breakdown dead plants or animals in an ecosystem
What are herbivores in an ecosystem? Animals that get their energy from plant life (50% Energy) in an ecosystem
What are carnivores in an ecosystem? Carnivores are animals that get their energy from eating other animals in an ecosystem (25 % energy)
What are omnivores in an ecosystem? Animals that get their energy from both plants and animals in an ecosystem
What is defined as a series of steps that involve energy transfer from one organism to another? Food Chain
What is the energy source that begins the ecosystems on land and the ocean? The Sun
