Radionuclide scanning low grade radioactive substance given by IV, looks to see organ/cell activity.
PET scan POSITRONS hit negitively charged electrons in body and emmit gamma rays
intracellular fluid inside cells (cytoplasm)
extracellular fluid outside cells
interstitial fluid water between tissues
cerebrospinal fluid fluid in spinal cord
aqueous humor/vitreous humor fluid in eyes
synovial fluid lube in joints
blood plasma liquid part of blood
colonoscopy interior view of the colon via camera
arthroscopy viewing of the joints (ex knee) via camera
Laparoscopy to see organs in the abdomen or pelvis via camera
Superior toward upper part of body
inferior toward lower part of body

lateral structures farther away from the midline
proximal a body part closer to where it attaches
