what are nodes? sounds produced by interference

what are standing waves? a pattern of vibrations that look still
what is a constructive interference? waves working together
what is destructive interference? waves destroying each other producing a quieter sound
what are beats? combination of two or more waves
what is diffraction? bending sound waves around a object
what is refraction? a sound wave hits a object and bounce in a different direction
interference does what? point in standing wave that has no vibration due to destructive interference
what is principle of superstition? method of adding crest and troughs of interfering waves together to describe a new wave
what are sound waves? sound waves are vibrations that travel through air monocles or vibrations that go through a medium or gases or liquids
what is frequency? frequency of the sound wave is close together or father apart creating how fast and how many waves reach you ears
what is pitch? pitch is a way to see how soft or loud the sound waves
what is infrasonic? below our hearing range for us to hear so animals can hear it or produce the sound
what is ultrasonic? ultra sonic is waves above what we hear much higher pitch, so animals can hear it or produce the sound
