| deposition | The dropping off of sediment in a new location. |
| erosion | The movement of sediment; to be carried away. |
| weathering | The breaking down of large rocks into sediments. |
| sediment | Small pieces of rocks |
| delta | A triangular shaped landform at the mouth of a river formed by water erosion and sediment deposition. |
| glacier | A large, slow-moving chunk of ice |
| sand dune | A large hill or mound of sand formed by wind, erosion, and deposition found in deserts and coastlines. |
| U-Shaped Valley | Found in high mountainous areas created by slow moving glacial weathering and erosion - usually in a "U" shape |
