QuestionAnswer
asteroid belt a region of space between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter where most of the asteroids in our Solar System are found orbiting the Sun.
asteroid An irregularly shaped rocky or metallic objects that orbits the sun and is much smaller than a planet
atmosphere the whole mass of air surrounding the earth
comet an object made of rock, ice, dust, and gas that revolves around the sun
moon an object that orbits a planet or something else that is not a star.
sun the star around which the earth moves and that provides light and heat for the earth:
orbit a regular, repeating path that one object in space takes around another one.
