DORSAL(posterior) behind
INFERIOR(caudal) Below
MEDIAL midline of body

PROXIMAL closer to begining of body part or point of attatchment
DEEP(internal) away from the body surface
DISTAL father from begining of body part or point of attatchment
VENTRAL(anterior) in front of the body
INTERMEDIATE between a more medial & a more lateral sturcture
SUPERIOR(cranial) above towards the head
