photosynthesis and cellular respiration

QuestionAnswer
Plants the only things that do photosynthesis.
What is chlorophyll? stuff inside the chloroplast that makes the plant green.
What time of day is photosynthesis? During the day from the sun.
What is the formula for photosynthesis? 6CO2+6H2O--> (sunlight)C6H12O6+6O2.
Where does Photosynthesis occur? In the Chloroplast.
What is the waste product for photosynthesis? Oxygen.
What goes into Photosynthesis? Carbon dioxide, water and sunlight 6CO2+6H2O -> sunlight
What is produced in photosynthesis? Glucose(sugar) and oxygen C6H12O6+6O2.
What does photosynthesis require? It requires energy from the sun and chlorophyll in order to be performed.
What is Starch? Starch is a long string of glucose molecules that breaks down easily and stores energy
What is cellulose? cellulose builds and strengthens the cell.
Where is the extra glucose stored? In the starch or the cellulose and or in the plant's tissue. The starch breaks down easily.
Where does the mass of a plant mostly come from? It comes mostly from carbon dioxide and water.
Where do CO2, sunlight and H2O enter the plant? The carbon dioxide goes in through the Stomata and water enters from the roots and sunlight enters through the surface.
What is the purpose for glucose production? It the product of photosynthesis which creates energy to keep the cell alive.
who does cellular respiration? All living things.
When does cellular respiration happen? All the time.
What is the formula for cellular respiration? 6O2+C6H12O6-->6CO2+6H2O and ATP energy
Why does cellular respiration? It is a process in which all living things release energy to form food moleules. The energy comes from the food which keeps the cells alive.
What goes into cellular respiration? oxygen and glucose
What is produced in cellular respiration? Carbon dioxide, water and ATP energy(unlike photosynthesis Cel. Res. doesn't need sunlight.
Where does cellular respiration occur? In the mitochondria of the cell
What is the purpose for cellular respiration? it creates energy
