What is Chlorophyll? The green coloring agent that is in the chloroplasts and reacts with sunlight for photosynthesis
What goes into photosynthesis? Carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight
What comes out of photosynthesis? Glucose and oxygen (C6H12O6+6O2)
How does sunlight enter the plant? The leaf absorbs the sunlight
What is the sunlight used for? It is the power source for phoyosynthesis
How does water enter the plant? The roots
How does carbon dioxide enter the plant? The stomata
What is the formula for photosynthesis? 6CO2 + 6H2O -s-u-n-l-i-g-h-t-> C6H12O6 + 6O2
How is glucose used by a plant? The plant uses the glucose immediately for energy, stores it as startch, or uses it for cellulose.
Who does photosynthesis? Plants...just plants
What is the formula for cellular respiration? C6H12O6+6O2 -> ATP Energy and 6CO +6H2O
What is the main function of cellular respiration? To break apart glucose and oxygen to make energy
What goes into cellular respiration? Glucose and oxygen
What comes out of cellular respiration? ATP Energy, carbon dioxide, and water
Who does cellular respiration? All living organisms
Why do organisms do cellular respiration? to make energy for cells.
What cell part does cellular respiration happen in? The mitochondria
Is sunlight needed for cellular respiration? No
