Meteorology Sp26c: Session 1: Basic definition of science

Science It is the careful study of the structure and behaviors of the physical world, especially by watching, measuring, and doing experiments and the developments of theories to describe the results of these actions.
Earth Science The study of earth; our planet, its rocks, layers, geo, and processes.
Physical Science The study examines matter and energy, and the way the universes behave.
Biological Science The study of living things.
Social Science The study of society and the way people live and behave.
Technology The methods or application of scientific knowledge or discoveries for practical purposes.
Why do we do Science? We do Science to find answers to the mysteries of the world. It is curiosity and knowledge. Sometimes, because of scientific discoveries technologies are created.
