What is land? The part of Earth's surface that is not covered by water.
What is the destruction of Earth's water by humans? Water pollution
What is the destruction of the Earth's land by humans? Land pollution
What are three different types of pollution? Air, land, and water
What is when Earth's atmosphere becomes dirty? Air pollution
What is having an effect on something or someone else? Impact
What is used to make things work like power for a car, or to keep a house warm? Fuel
How can land pollution negatively impact animals? Animals can mistake trash for food
Where does water pollution come from? Chemicals and waste going into water; anything going into water
How can we prevent land pollution? By recycling and throwing trash away
How can air pollution impact animals and insects? They may struggle to find food and shelter
How can water pollution impact plants and animals? Fish and other aquatic (water) animal have a hard time surviving. Plants can't grow.
How can we conserve water? Turn off water and take shorter showers. Don't use too much water
What form of pollution makes breathing unsafe? Air pollution
What type of pollution gets better when people walk instead of drive and use public transportation? Air pollution
How does runoff cause pollution? When chemicals from farms and factories go into the water and land causing land and water pollution.
