| Deposition | The process of which sediments are deposited in a new location. |
| Erosion | The movement of weathered material by wind, water, or ice. |
| Fossil Fuels | Fuels formed over millions of years from the remains of ancient organisms. |
| Landforms | A physical structure on Earth that occurs naturally. |
| Sedimentary Rocks | A rock that forms sediments are compacted and cemented together. |
| Weathering | The process of rocks breaking down into smaller pieces. |
| Ice Wedging | A form of mechanical weathering where water seeps into cracks |
| Petroleum | A thick, dark, natural oil found deep underground that is a type of fossil fuel. |
| Sediments | Loose solid material like bits of rocks, sand, mud, and even dead plants and animals that gets moved by wind, water, or ice. |
| Fossil | The remains or trace of a plant or animal that lived a very long time ago, typically at least 10,000 years old, and heas been preserved in rock. |
