What are the 4 phases of digestion? Ingestion, digestion, absorption and elimination
What does insulin do? It allows glucose to pass from the bloodstream into your body's cells.
What are the three layers of skin? Epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous layer
What gland secretes melatonin? The pineal gland
How many ways does the stomach digest food? Two ways, mechanically and chemically
What does saliva contain? Mucus and salivary amylase
