weather the condition of the atmosphere at a place for a short period of time, including humidity, cloud cover, temperature, wind, and precipitation
climate the long-term pattern of weather conditions
temperature the measure of thermal energy in the surrounding air; how hot or cold something is
forecast a weather prediction - usually 7 - 10 days
precipitation rain, snow, sleet, or hail - any form of water, solid or liquid, that falls from the clouds
atmosphere layers of gases that surround Earth or a planet
meteorologists scientists who study weather patterns and gives the forecast
climatologists scientists who use weather patterns over decades to report climate patterns
