Problem: ask a question about something you observe –how, what, when, who, which, why or where?
Research: using a book, the WWW, teacher, class notes, other adults, locate background info that will help you to answer the problems to this lab. List the sources used
Hypothesis: an educated guess using “If _____ (I do this), then ______ (this) will happen because …_____________.
Control: list all the variables that will be kept the SAME
Independent Variable: What I can change
Dependent Variable: what will be measured, something that relies on something else
