| Energy transformation | When energy changes from one form to another. |
| Longitudinal wave | A wave where particles move back and forth in the same direction as the wave. |
| Oscillation | A back-and-forth movement that repeats. |
| Transverse wave | A wave where particles move up and down while the wave moves forward. |
| Wave | A repeating disturbance that transfers energy. |
| Electrical circuit | A path through which electric current flows. |
| Energy | The ability to do work or cause change. |
| Energy transfer | When energy moves from one object to another. |
| Food web | A diagram showing how energy passes from one organism to another. |
