| Non vascular plant | A low -growing in the plant that lacks true vascular tissue for transporting materials. |
| Rhizoid | A thin, rootlike structure that anchors a moss, and absorb water, and nutrients for the plant. |
| vascular plant. | A plant that has true vascular has tissue for transporting materials |
| Phloem | The vascular tissue, through which food moves in some plants |
| Xylem | Vascular tissue, through which water and minerals move in some plants. |
| Pollen | Tiny structure produced by seed plants in the container so that later becomes a sperm cell |
| Seed | The plant structure that contains the young plant and a food supply inside a protective covering. |
| Gymnosperm | A plant that produces seeds directly on the scales of cones, not enclosed by a protective fruit |
| Amgiosperm | A flowering that produces seeds enclosed by a protective fruit. |

| Describe the difference between phloem and xylem. | Xylem transports water and minerals from roots to leaves in an upward, unidirectional flow, while phylum transports sugars, proteins, and other organic molecules from leaves to all parts of the plant in the bidirectional flow. |
