|---|---|
| photosynthesis | process of making energy in autotrophs |
| What are the three main characteristics of all plants? | multicellular, autotrophs, and cell wall's. |
| chloroplast | A structure in the cells of plants and some other organisms that captures energy from sunlight and uses it to produce food. |
| Tissue | a group of similar cells that perform a specific function. |
| chlorophyll | a green pigment found in the chloroplast of plants, algae, and some bacteria. |
| vacuole | a sac inside a cell that acts as a storage container area. |

| Chromatin | |
| Mitochondria | Rod shaped structures that convert energy in food molecules to energy the cell can use to carry out its functions. |
