Cleans Denture

QuestionAnswer
First Step Puts on clean gloves before handling denture
Second Step Line sink with towel or partially fill sink to ensure safety of the denture
Third Step Rinse dentures in moderate temp water before brushing
Fourth Step Apply toothpaste to toothbrush
Fifth Step Brushes all surfaces of denture
Sixth Step Rinses all surfaces of denture under moderate temp water
Seventh Step Rinses denture cup and lid
Eight Step Put dentures in denture cup with moderate temp water/solution and place lid on cup
Nineth Step Rinses toothbrush and puts it in designated toothbrush container
Tenth Step Sink liner is removed and disposed of properly and/or sink is drained
Eleventh Step Removes and disposes of gloves without contaminating self. Wash hands after removing gloves
Notes Maintain clean placement of toothbrush and dentures throughout procedure.
