| Model | An object, diagram, or computer program that helps us understand something by making it simpiler or easier to see |
| product | An ending substance that is made during a chemical reaction |
| property | Something that can be observed about a substance, such as color, smell, or boiling point |
| Reactant | A starting A starting substance that is a part of chemical reaction |
| Rearrange | to change the order or position of something |
| Boiling point | The temperature at which a substance changes from the liquid phase to the gas phase |
| Scale | The relative size of thing |
| Substance | something that is made of all the same atoms or groups of atoms |
| Chemical formula | Letters and numbers showing the types and number of atoms that repeat to make up a substance |
| extended structure | a structure formed together by repeating groups of atoms linked together in a large network |
| melting point | the temperature at which a substance changes phase from a solid to a liquid |
| molecule | a group of atoms joined together in a particular way |
| fertilizer | a substance that is added to soil to help plants grow |
| corrosive | able to cause damage |
