| Chemical reaction | A process in which atoms rearrange to form new substanses |
| model | An object, diagram, or computor program that helps us understand something by making it simpler or easier to see |
| Product | An ending substance that is made during a chemical reaction |
| Property | Something that can be observed about a substance, such as color, smell, or boiling point |
| Reactant | A starting substance that is part of chemical reaction |
| Rearanged | To change the order or position of somthing |
| Scale | The relative size of things |
| Substance | Something that is made of all the same atoms or group of atoms |
| Boiling point | The temperature at which a substance changes from the liquid phase to the gas phase |
| Chemical formula | Letter and numbers showing the types and numbers of atoms that reapet to make up a substance |
| Extended Formula | A structure formed by repeating groups of atoms linked together in a large network |
| Melting point | The temperature at which a substance changes from the solid phase to the liquid phase |
| molecule | a group of atomes joined together in a particular way |
| Ferterlizer | a substance that is added to soil to help plants grow |
| corrosive | able to cause damage |
