| Chemical formula | letters and numbers showing the types of atoms that repeat to make a substance |
| Extended structure | a structure formed by repeating groups of atoms linked together in a large network |
| Melting point | the tempature that a substance changes from a solid to a liquid |
| Molecule | a group of atoms joined together in a particular way |
| Fertilizer | a substance that is added to soil to help plants grow |
| Corrosive | able to cause damage |
