| Transparent | Allows ALL, or almost all light to pass through. |
| Absorbed | Light energy taken in by an object. |
| Light | A form of energy which our eyes can detect. |
| Reflection | A light wave behavior in which the waves strike an object and bounce back off. |
| Refraction | A change in direction of a light wave as it moves from one medium to another. |
