How are the lytic and lysogenic cycle similar? Both are cycles that involve viral replication.
How are the lytic and lysogenic cycle different? Symptoms of the lytic cycle occur quickly after infection, the lysogenic cycle takes longer for symptoms to show even after exposure.
How are eukaryotic & prokaryotic cells similar? Both contain genetic information, have a cell membrane, are living organisms, contain ribosomes.
Proteins are made in which organelle? ribosomes
Which microorgansims can reproduce asexually? prokaryotic & viruses (with a host cell)
Name one benefit of bacteria. - can help decompose dead organisms - help digest food - help create life-saving medicines

How is the cell wall and cell membrane different? The cell wall provides plants with structural support and works as an additional barrier. The cell membrane allows things to go in and out of the cell.
Where can DNA be found in prokaryotic & eukaryotic cells? free-floating in prokaryotes & in the nucleus of eukaryotes
What are the two main structural components of a virus? capsid (protein coat) & genetic material (DNA or RNA or both)
How are viruses & cells different? - Cells can reproduce on their own, virsues require a host cell to replicate. - Cells are living things and viruses are not
