anemometer measures wind speed
hygrometer measures humidity (total amount/quantity of water vapor)
barometer measures air pressure
thermometer measures temperature
weather vane points the direction the wind is coming from AKA Wind Vane, Wind Sock
rain gauge measures rain accumulation (how much it rained)
yardstick/meterstick measures snow. sleet accumulation (how much it frozen precipitation) How deep/think/layers/sheets
elevation* measures height above sea level
weather map chart showing/explaining atmospheric measurements like temperature, pressure, and wind across a specific area at at a specific time in the past, present or future.
Latitude describes distance north or south of the Earth's Equator <------------> The Equator is 0° latitude.  Closer to equator, the hotter it will be.
Map Key Unlocks the symbols on maps/charts
Degrees Celsius (°C) a unit for measuring temperature 0°C is the freezing point of water and 100°C is the boiling point of water at standard atmospheric pressure
Degrees Fahrenheit (°F) a unit for measuring temperature 32°F is the freezing point of water and 212°F is the boiling point of water at standard atmospheric pressure
