energy budget the amount of energy it takes to heat up
temperature the amount of hot or cold something is
thermal energy heat energy
thermal expansion when heat spreads out in every single way
heat how hot something is
radiation heat getting distributed without direct contact
convection a loop of energy getting hot and cold
conduction energy transfer by direct contact
wind uneven heating of the earths surface
coriolis effect when wind curves
global wind wind all over the globe
jet stream a fast stream of wind going in one direction
local wind wind in a specific area
ocean current a current under water that moves cold and hot water to different places
surface current waves or tides above water
deep current waves or tides under water
convection current the sequence of heating and cooling of water traveling in a loop
upwelling when rich nutritional soil, rocks and minerals float to the surface of the ocean
