Hypo and Hyper

Hypertension High blood pressure
Hyperthyroidism Overactive thyroid gland
Hyperglycemia High blood sugar levels
Hyperlipidemia High levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in the bloodstream
Hyperthermia Elevated body temperature
Hyperplasia Increased cell growth and multiplication
Hypertrophy Enlargement of an organ or tissue
Hypercalcemia High levels of calcium in the bloodstream
Hypernatremia High levels of sodium in the bloodstream
Hyperhidrosis Excessive sweating
Hypoglycemia Low blood sugar levels
Hypothyroidism Under active thyroid gland
Hypothermia Low body temperature
Hyponatremia Low sodium levels in the bloodstream
Hypocalcemia Low calcium levels in the bloodstream
Hypolipidemia Low cholesterol and triglyceride in the bloodstream
Hypoxemia Low oxygen levels in the bloodstream
Hypo Prefix meaning "under", "below" or "less than normal"
