Abdominal Its muscular wall provides protection, allows for movement, supports the trunk, and helps regulate internal pressure, which is crucial for bodily functions like breathing, coughing, and digestion.
Antebrachial is an adjective that refers to the forearm (ante- before, brachial means arm), or the region between the elbow and the wrist
Antecubital the inner, anterior (front) surface of the forearm, at the elbow's depression
Axillary Pertaining to the arm pit
Brachial refers to anything related to the arm
Buccal anything relating to the cheek, or the inside of the mouth
Carpal the eight small bones that form the base of the wrist, connecting the forearm to the hand
Deltoid a muscle of the upper arm that moves the humerus, or upper arm bone, and provides shoulder joint stability
Femoral anything related to the femur (thigh bone) or the thigh region of the lower limb, which includes muscles, arteries, veins, and nerves
Inguinal the groin region or structures
Mammary pertaining to the bone
Nasal refers to the nose and its structures
Oral a state of the mouth, teeth, and surrounding structures
Orbital the bony cavity in the skull that houses and protects the eye and its associated structures, including nerves, muscles, blood vessels, and the lacrimal gland
Patellar the largest sesamoid bone in the body, acting as a protective shield for the knee joint
Pelvic a basin-shaped complex of bones at the base of the trunk that connects the spine to the legs
Vertebral a single bone in the vertebral column, or spine
Pubic region of the pubis (or pubic bone), which is the forward-facing, most anterior bone of the pelvis
Sternal - relating to the sternum, the "breastbone"
Tarsal any of the seven bones that make up the tarsus, or ankle and proximal foot
Thoracic relating to the thorax (chest), the part of the body between the neck and the abdomen that contains and protects vital organs like the heart and lungs
Umbilical can also refer to the belly button (navel) or anything relating to it.
Cephalic the head or the head end of the body and is used as a directional term to mean "toward the head" (superior) or to describe anatomical structures and conditions related to the head
Gluteal the muscles, arteries, nerves, and regions related to the buttocks
Lumbar the lower back region of the torso, situated between the rib cage and the pelvis. The area is defined by the five large vertebrae, labeled L1 to L5, which are the largest and strongest in the spine to handle significant body weight

Popliteal the area behind the knee. diamond-shaped area located directly posterior to the knee joint. It is clinically recognized as a soft impression behind the knee
