Science The study of the real world using evidence from observations and experimentation
technology tools, machines, or systems created by people to solve problems or make life easier
engineering the process of designing, building-, and improving solutions to real world problems
investigation a careful study or test to answer a scientific question
hypothesis a prediction or educated guess that can be tested
variable something that can change in an experiment(like temperature, time, or materials)
data facts, numbers, or observations collected during an experiment
conclusion a statement that explains the results of an investigation
lab safety rules and procedures to keep everyone safe during experiments
teamwork working with others to reach a goal
