Explain Policy and Procedure Manuals

why are procedure manuals important everyone needs a reminder about how to perform a task from time to time - the procedure manual serves as a guide if a staff member wants to review the steps in a procedure
what should NAs do if they are unsure look at the procedure manual and ask for help if they have questions
what does looking at the procedure manual and asking questions promote safety
what is the result of not asking questions when unsure how to perform a procedure can be dangerous
where are the policy and procedure manuals kept they are generally kept together , new employees are told where to find them when they are hired
